Troy-Bilt TBWC28T 28-Inch 3-in-1 Self-Propelled RWD Gas Lawn Mower — 195cc OHV, InStep Variable Speed

A 28-inch wide-cut self-propelled gas walk-behind with rear-wheel drive and a 195cc Troy-Bilt OHV engine — the productive middle ground between a 21-inch push mower and a riding mower for medium-to-large lawns.

Add fresh fuel and engine oil before first use (oil not included; check the manual for type/capacity). Always wear closed-toe footwear, eye protection, and hearing protection while operating.

The Troy-Bilt TBWC28T is a wide-cut self-propelled walk-behind that bridges the gap between a typical 21-inch push mower and a riding mower. Its 28-inch fabricated steel deck covers more ground in fewer passes — great for medium-to-large yards from roughly ½ to 1 acre — and the 195cc Troy-Bilt OHV engine provides the torque to power through tall, dense grass without bogging down.

The InStep™ rear-wheel-drive system is the headline feature: it automatically matches your walking pace and keeps the drive wheels biting hard for steady traction on slopes, uneven turf, and even with a full bagger. Larger 8-inch front and 13-inch rear wheels stabilize the chassis and roll smoothly over rougher residential terrain.

3-in-1 grass handling lets you mulch, side-discharge, or rear-bag clippings without changing accessories. A single-lever height-of-cut adjustment moves the entire deck quickly through five positions, and a deck washout port speeds up cleanup with a garden hose. The mower arrives essentially fully assembled and is backed by a 3-year limited warranty for residential use.
